3 Bridies are a female trio playing live music both traditional and modern styles around the island of Lanzarote in the Canary Islands, Spain. Representing England, Ireland & Scotland, they are Kate Conroy playing guitar, bass, drums and principal vocals (not all at the same time necessarily); Clare Atherton on sax, flute, whistle, harmonica, and vocals; and Jaqueline Kay on accordian, piano and vocals.
Kate and Clare have been gigging around the island for a number of years as Dublin Clare, and were joined in early 2007 by Jaqueline to form 3 Bridies. Their distinctive style and eclectic mix of musical sounds and styles continue to entertain the many visitors to Lanzarote, both young and old.
We are also available for weddings, both in church and the afters party. We have included some 'in church' recordings which are most popular at weddings.
